Classes
Infant (1-3 years) - Wonder 2, 3, 4
Preschool (3-5 years) - Wonder 4 & Preschool 1,2,3
Primary (5-13 years) - Level 1-11
Teen/Adult (14+ years) - Private
All swim school enrolments must be members.
Classes can have a maximum of 4 students. There may be one extra student if they are completing a make-up class.
Supervision
Children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times whilst in the pool, including during swimming lessons.
Swim School FAQ’s
Do you have a school holiday intensive program?
We don’t offer this currently, since we continue to run our normal weekly lessons in school holidays. There may be holiday events on at the club. Please keep an eye out around the club and on our socials for any upcoming events.
Can I do more than one lesson a week?
Yes, you are welcome to enrol in more than one lesson a week. We actually recommend this. Please note, you will need to continue more than one lesson a week for a minimum of one term.
How old does my child need to be to enrol in swimming lessons?
Children can start classes at 1 year of age.
What equipment does my child need?
Bathers and goggles are required. Goggles must not cover the nose. We recommend all students wear rash tops with long sleeves in the pool.

“My child was in level ___ at their old swimming lessons. Will it be the same level here?”
This depends, as different pools follow different curriculums. Next Gen Doncaster follows the Swim and Survive curriculum designed by Royal Lifesaving Australia. If your previous swim school used a different curriculum then you will need an assessment with us to determine your Swim and Survive level.
How long will my child stay in a level?
This will depend on your child and their circumstances. If you are concerned about your child’s progress, please speak to the swim school coordinator.
