We have designed The Next Step to give new and existing members more insight into the many varied facilities and services available as part of your membership.  With nine different sessions plus a bonus session available, you're invited to try as many as you like, so take The Next Step today and get the most out of your Next Gen membership. 

1. Download Next Gen Life Mobile App

Next Gen has teamed up with Technogym to create Next Gen Life, our custom mobile app designed to support your health and fitness goals. You can book classes, track progress, follow workouts and more. It even syncs with your favourite fitness apps and smart watches. Make sure to check the Next Gen Life Tech intro if you are unsure of how to use phone app.

2. Get a Personalised Program

Enjoy a 1 on 1 fitness consultation with one of our Personal Trainers. We’ll discuss what you want to achieve at Next Gen, help you establish goals, and come up with a personalised program to ensure you hit the ground running. 

3. Get an InBody body composition analysis

Discover what you’re made of with a 15 minute body scan and assessment led by one of our Personal Trainers. Using cutting edge technology, we will give you a snapshot of your current health, including muscle mass, body fat percentage and even break it down by each segment to identify imbalances. It’s a great way of measuring your progress and we encourage all members to utilise this service every 4-6 weeks.

4. Racquets Welcome

Get acquainted with the tennis courts and facilities with this 30 minute small group session led by the head of Tennis. It’s a great opportunity to meet some fellow Tennis lovers, become familiar with the court booking system and learn about the different Tennis offerings at the club. 

5. Attend a Studio Class

At Next Gen, we offer a diverse schedule of Studio Group Fitness Classes, including Yoga, Pilates, Spin, Zumba, Les Mills Body Pump and so much more. The classes are a great tool to help you stay motivated, learn new skills from the instructors, meet other members and become part of a community.  

6. Attend a H.I.I.T Fundamentals Session

High Intensity Interval Training, or H.I.I.T for short, is a style of group training offered at Next Gen that utilises functional exercise combining both strength and cardio components delivered in a circuit style. It’s a calorie burning, high energy session that is perfect for those looking to lose weight and improve fitness. During this 15 minute introductory session, the instructor will prepare you for one of our 4 H.I.I.T classes, explain how it all works and work with you to answer any questions you may have. 

7. Review your program every 6 weeks

After you have Completed Next Step 2 and received a personalised program tailored to your unique needs from one of our PT’s, we then invite you back every 6 weeks to review it. In these sessions, we review your progress, discuss new goals and update your program with our PT every 6 weeks to make sure you stay on track and keep working towards your goals. 

8. Scan in 20 times in 60 Days

The key to achieving results and establishing a new healthy habit is consistency. That’s why, we want you to try and attend Next Gen at least 20 times in your first 60 days. This will help set you up for greater success and will ensure that coming to Next Gen becomes part of your new routine. So come up with a plan and do your best to stick to it. Whether that means you come once every 3 days, or do the first 3 days of each week to get it done, we don’t mind. It’s about making Next Gen part of your lifestyle so it compliments everything else you do.

9. Test Out The Summit Altitude Studio

Reach new heights with a 1 on 1 30 minute session led by a PT in our state of the art, Summit Altitude Training Studio. You will experience what it’s like to train at higher altitudes and receive the benefits of increased strength, better fat burn, lower impact on your joints and so much more. Your trainer will tailor this session to you and your unique needs.

(Bonus) Enjoy a Free PT Session

As a new Next Gen Member, we want to give you everything you need to succeed. That’s why we’re going to give you a bonus Free Personal Training session to put you through your paces, review your form and technique plus teach you some new skills you can incorporate into your own sessions.
